I’ve been meaning to revisit this and do a series large-scale. Any artists want to give me ideas on what medium to use? I’m thinking of trying acrylic finally / avoiding digital color.

Another old piece I dug up that I liked the simplicity of.I was asked to do a poster for a showing of the movie Katyn at my school back in 2010. This was one of the earlier drafts. If you’re not familiar with Katyn, here’s a link - Katyn Massacre.- © Lucas Kalina 2010

I won’t re-post others work often, but this is to help someone out.Check out genna’s work, and help out her friend Mitch if you can!
gennahoward:

A friend of mine, Mitch, is undergoing treatment for Cancer. I asked for his favorite lyrics and painted this, based off a Jawbreaker song.
There are 100 prints of this painting being made, no reprints; the original painting will be given to Mitch. 100% of the profits will also be donated to him to help him out with his medical bills. They are only $10, which means $6 from every print will be donated (that means hopefully $600 will be given). Every print will be hand signed, and they are all printed on a very high quality recycled cover stock. And no, the watermark will not be on the actual print.
Pre-Orders are up, and they will start shipping on the 21st! - BigCartel
Please reblog this and help out a great guy!

An oldie, but a goodie. I’ve been wanting to do more prints, and I have a few awesome ideas to work with (maybe some shirts too) - so keep a look out in the near future.Unfortunately not for a real show, just a school project last year).silkscreenLucas Kalina 2011
